Please note: this is a basic layout of the usage of the energy systems for an athlete. Everyone’s energy output is different/unique; Individualization is key.

• Ergogenesis: 95% alactic, 5% lactic
• Main energy substrates: Creatine phosphate
• Limiting factors: Throwing power, acceleration power, reactive power
• Training Objectives: maximum strength, power

Training Age

Training Age consists of many AGE categories utilized to track and train athletes. You SHOULD NEVER train athletes based on their Chronological age!

The attributes you will need are Reactive Power, Strength, Explosiveness and of course Speed and Agility to achieve athletic success! These attributes are directly related to the development of maximum strength and ultimately maximum power.

Team Training

We do not train all baseball players alike. There are subtle differences in the demands that each position carries. Therefore, we will divide the team into two or three sub groups depending on the general athletic ability of the team/players with like minded training goals.
